Kashable Integration - Get Started

Maxwell Health’s integration with Kashable automatically generates and sends a pre-formatted file to Kashable on a weekly basis that includes information on members who have engaged with the Kashable product. 

The steps for setting up the integration vary slightly based on the deployment status of your company on Maxwell Health.

Follow these steps if you’re currently live on Maxwell:

  1. Your Advisor will notify their Maxwell Health Account Manager that you'd like to add the Kashable integration. Your Advisor will fill out an integration specific checklist with information on an HR contact email address, an Advisor contact email address, and a payroll contract email address for this integration.
  2. Once we've received the completed integration checklist, the Maxwell team will securely share employer and employee census data with  Kashable, so that they can determine eligibility. This data includes:
    • employer name
    • employer address
    • Advisor name
    • HR contact
    • payroll contact
    • payroll frequency
    • employee date of hire
    • employee address
    • employee status (part-time or full-time, if Maxwell has this information)
    • employee payment type (hourly or salary, if Maxwell has this information)
    • employee annual salary (if payment type = salary)
  3. Within two business days of receiving this data, Kashable will send the Employer Agreement and the Welcome Letter to the Advisor, employer, and the Maxwell Health team. This includes the waiting period and effective dates for the Kashable product. They will also ask for any further information they need at this time to set up the employer account.
  4. The Maxwell Health team will update the Kashable product description to include the correct waiting period and effective dates. At this time, we’ll also activate the integration, and let you know when that’s set. This steps takes four business days.

Follow these steps if you haven't yet been implemented on Maxwell: 

  1. Your Advisor will let us know that a Kashable integration has been requested when they begin your implementation. They'll provide information on an HR contact email address, a broker contact email address, and a payroll contract email address for this integration.
  2. We’ll begin the implementation process for your company. At this time, we’ll also securely share employer and member census data with Kashable, so that they can determine eligibility. This data includes:
    • employer name
    • employer address
    • Advisor name
    • HR contact
    • payroll contact
    • payroll frequency
    • employee date of hire
    • employee address
    • employee status (part-time or full-time, if Maxwell has this information)
    • employee payment type (hourly or salary, if Maxwell has this information)
    • employee annual salary (if payment type = salary)
  3. Within two business days of receiving this data,  Kashable will send the Employer Agreement and the Welcome Letter to the Advisor, employer, and the Maxwell Health team. This includes the waiting period and effective dates for the Kashable product. They will also ask you for any further information they need at this time to set up the employer account.
  4. The Maxwell Health team will update the Kashable product description to include the correct waiting period and effective dates. At this time, we’ll also activate the integration, and let you know when that’s set. This step takes four business days in addition to when your company’s build on the Maxwell Health platform is complete.
Note: Setting up the integration follows a separate timeline than your Maxwell Health implementation, but setting up your file won’t delay you from going live in Maxwell. It just means that your file may go live after your company deploys on Maxwell.
