What is Two-Step Verification?

Maxwell wants to help you keep your account and your employee information secure using two-step verification.

Maxwell Health requires two-step verification for all Advisor-level access logins and provides an option to turn on two-step verification for Admin-level and Member-level logins.

What is two-step verification?

Two-step verification adds an extra layer of security to your Maxwell Health account. Accessing your account when two-step verification is turned on requires two methods (also referred to as authentication factors) to verify your identity.

These methods can include something you know - like a username and password - plus something you have - like a smartphone app - to verify your identity.

So rather than relying solely on entering a password as you log in, you’ll also be prompted to enter a code that you have received through a secondary method. This additional step helps make sure that you are indeed the person trying to gain access to your Maxwell Health account (authenticating your identity).
